So, my second attempt at running a Baseball card blog has come to an end.
I tried, I really did, but the enthusiasm for card collecting that was there back in March has pretty much evaporated.
Some of the sourness that occurred in the community back in July didn’t help. It wasn’t the whole reason but it certainly gave me pause for thought and helped me re-assess the reasons behind what I wanted to collect and why.
I’ll still be hanging around on UK Cards, checking out what everyone is picking up for their own collections. That’s always one of the best parts of what we do anyway!
I’ll mainly be putting my energies into Star Wars from this point forward. I have my new site up and running so please feel free to check it out –
It doesn’t have many readers at the minute as trying to break into the Star Wars community is proving to be quite the challenge, however I’m having a blast putting it together so I’ll keep plugging away.
I also have some packs and blaster boxes left over that I want to move on. They’re listed on eBay at the moment but if anyone wants any at a cheaper price then email me direct – email@example.com
- 2018 Topps Series 1 Jumbo packs £10.00 each plus £1 P&P (6 remaining)
- 2018 Topps Series 2 Jumbo packs £10.00 each plus £1 P&P (8 remaining)
- 2018 Topps Big League Blaster box £11.00 each plus £2.90 P&P for however many you want (15 remaining)
All payments via PayPal to the above email as Friends and Family please.
Hopefully this will give some of you the chance to fill out those collections!!
Anyway, no wise words or witticisms to round things off this time. It’s been fun and I’ve learnt a few more important things this time round, especially around the nature of my own limits. I’ve also learnt a few things about other people in the process too, both good and bad.
You all know where to find me for a chat or a catch up at any time.
Be good to one another.
